Edgewater High School

  Lauren Collins is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner who has been practicing pediatrics since 2016.  Lauren obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from UCF and started her nursing career in the pediatric intensive care units at both AdventHealth for Children in Orlando and All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg. Lauren’s passion for pediatrics drove her to pursue her master’s degree in pediatric primary care at Drexel University. During her graduate studies, Lauren transitioned into school health, working as an RN at University High School and the Winter Park High School Student Health Center. Upon completion of her Master’s of Science in Nursing degree, Lauren worked in private practice for 5 years before ultimately returning to school health as the provider at the Edgewater High School Student Health Center in 2022. Lauren was born and raised in Winter Springs, FL. Her and her husband currently reside in Orlando with their two young children. They enjoy traveling, playing soccer, watching football and spending quality time as a family.
