Winter Park High School

 Pam Flaherty is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner and President of Healthcare Providers of Florida. Pam began her nursing career working at Norton-Children’s Hospital in 1978. After moving to Orlando, she began working at AdventHealth’s pediatric and pediatric intensive care units. She has taught nursing at Seminole State College and the University of Central Florida. After graduating from the University of Florida in 1998, Pam began her passion for meeting kids where they are and founded Healthcare Providers of Florida, Inc., a nurse practitioner- owned and operated company that provides school-based primary care health services  to students in seven Orange County Public Schools. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Pam enjoys spending time with family which includes four grandchildren that she adores, traveling, and attending sporting events. She is an avid fan of the University of Kentucky and the University of Florida.  

  Kristy is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner who has been practicing pediatrics since 2006. After completing her undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Central Florida, she began her nursing career at Arnold Palmer Hospital in the post-partum/neonatal and the pediatric emergency department. Shortly after, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree and obtained her pediatric nurse practitioner license. Kristy went on to spend time working in primary care pediatrics and school health in the Orlando area, as well as teaching pediatrics at Seminole State College. Kristy loves to empower patients through education, prevention and disease management. She was born in New York, but raised in Florida. Kristy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, and cheering them on at all their sporting events.
